A Memorial Service for Kathryn Gene Fowler of Mountain Home, Arkansas, will be 6:00 p.m., Monday, November 9, 2015, at Kirby & Family Funeral Home Chapel, with Gene McCoy. Minister officiating.
Kathryn passed away November 6, 2015, in Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 69. She was born November 26, 1945, in Niagara Falls, New York, the daughter of David and Lois Hillyard Craven. She married Thomas Fowler in Mountain Home, AR and worked as a third grade teacher. Kathryn lived in Mountain Home since 1981, moving from Evansville, Indiana. She enjoyed knitting and spending time with her family.
Kathryn is survived by her mother, Lois Craven; three daughters, Kim (Ted) May, Karyn (Richard) Cramer and Rebecca Barbour all of Mountain Home, AR; step-daughter, Rebecca Lester Lawson; two step-sons, Clinton (Kala) Fowler of Rockville, MD and John Fowler of Lowell, AR; brother, David Craven of Charlotte, NC; sister, Sandra (Gail) Waldeck of Matthews, NC; 14 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her father; husband and sister, Margaret Gormon.
Inurnment will be in the Maplewood Cemetery, Harrison, Arkansas.
Memorials may be made to Hospice of the Ozarks Hospice House.
Arrangements are by Kirby and Family Funeral and Cremation Services.
