Kathryn Prevett

Kathryn Prevett died Tuesday, February 3, 2009 in Mountain Home at the age of 86. She was born Monday, October 23, 1922 in Berwyn, Illinois, the daughter of Louis and Lillian Horn Jachens. She married Lloyd Prevett on April 3, 1943 at Chicago, Illinois and worked as a Payroll Clerk for Chicago Rivett. Kathryn lived in Mountain Home since 1980 moving from Berkley, Illinois. She was a Chicago Cubs fan and loved listening to Big Band music. Survivors: Kathryn Prevett is survived by her son, Lloyd L. (Nancy) Prevett of Pekin, IL, daughter, Carol (Ken) Wilkes of St. Peters, MO, 4 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. Preceded in Death by: She was preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd Prevett and 1 sister, Shirley Jackens. Visitation: Visitation will be from 5-7 P.M., Friday, February 6 at Kirby & Family Funeral Home. Funeral: Private Graveside Services for Kathryn L. Prevett of Mountain Home, AR, will be 10:00 A.M. Saturday, February 7, 2009 at Kirby's Tucker Memorial Cemetery, with Dr. Fred Taylor officiating. Burial: Burial will be in the Kirby's Tucker Memorial Cemetery. Memorials: Memorials may be made to the Hospice of the Ozarks.
