Kathryn Schmuecker

A Celebration of Life for Kathryn Schmuecker of Mountain Home, Arkansas, will be 5:00 pm, Monday, December 2, 2013, at First Baptist Church, with Pastor David Johnson officiating. A Gathering of Friends will be from 4:00 pm until time of service at the church.

Kathryn passed away November 28, 2013, in Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 49. She was born January 7, 1964, in Topeka, Kansas, the daughter of David and Susan Green Taggart. She worked as a Registered Nurse for Regional Family Medicine, Hospice of The Ozarks Hospice House and in the Baxter Regional Medical Center Emergency Room. She lived in Mountain Home since 1987, moving from Dallas, Texas. She enjoyed cooking and baking and being outdoors working in her garden. She loved being a nurse and caring for others and spending time with friends and family.

Kathryn is survived by her life partner, Hadi Mazaheri of Mountain Home, AR; two daughters, Emily Schmuecker and Claire Schmuecker and their father, Karl Schmuecker all of Mountain Home, AR; her father, David Taggart of Mountain Home, AR; brother, Paul and Sandra Taggart of Houston, TX; three aunts, Friday Shatsoff of Denver, CO, Mary Gilmore of Newton, KS and Patricia Green of Springfield, MO; three nephews, E.J. Schmuecker, Zak Schmuecker and Trent Horst and two nieces, Isabelle Schmuecker and Sara Jane Taggart.

She was preceded in death by her mother and twin brother, Matthew Taggart.

Burial will be in the Kirby's Tucker Memorial Cemetery, Mountain Home, Arkansas.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Hospice of the Ozarks Hospice House.
