Funeral services for Kathy Juanita Huggins of Gassville, Arkansas, will be 2:00 PM Thursday, November 11, 2010 at Kirby & Family Funeral Home Chapel, with Brother Ken Martin officiating. Visitation will be from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM, Wednesday, November 10, 2010 at Kirby & Family Funeral Home Chapel.
Kathy passed away Sunday, November 7, 2010 at her home, at the age of 55. She was born June 7, 1955 in Crownsville, Maryland, the daughter of Henry William and Catherine Darnell Korbach. She married James Huggins on May 17, 1974 at Fort Meade, Maryland and worked as a caregiver for Superior Senior Care. Kathy lived in Gassville, Arkansas since 1995, moving from Bakersfield, Missouri. She was a loving wife and a great mother and grandmother. There was never a soul she would not help.
Kathy is survived by her husband, James Huggins of Gassville, AR; mother, Catherine Korbach Marshall of Crownsville, MD, 3 daughters, Catherine (Wesley) Jackson of Copperas Cove, TX, Patricia D. Denning of Gassville, AR and Jamie (Chris) Williams of Temple, TX; 1 brother, Donald (Dixie) Korbach of Crownsville, MD; 3 sisters, Patricia A. Sandborn of Crownsville, MD, Darlene S. Picard of Bogalusa, LA and Anna (Gem) Bridges of Lubbock, TX; 4 grandchildern, Zowy and James Denning and Victoria and Patrick Jackson.
She was preceded in death by her father, Henry William Korbach, Sr. and brother, Henry Korbach, Jr.
She will be laid to rest in Kirby's Tucker Memorial Cemetery with Patricia Denning, Tim Martin, Dain Hudson, Robert Smith, Trent Alexander and Eugene Buck as pallbearers.
Memorials may be made to the Riverside Church of Christ for the Panama Mission.
