A Graveside Funeral Service for Kaye Jean Carey of Mountain Home, Arkansas, will be 11:00 am, Wednesday, November 25, 2015, at Kirby's Tucker Memorial Cemetery Open-Air Chapel. Visitation will be Wednesday, November 25, 2015, from 9:00 am until 10:30 am at Kirby & Family Funeral Home in Mountain Home, Arkansas.
Kaye passed away November 22, 2015, in Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 87. She was born June 15, 1928, in Waterman, Illinois, the daughter of Frank and Lyle Keene Smith. She married James Edward Carey on July 3, 1953, at DeKalb, Illinois and was a secretary. Kaye lived in Arkansas since moving from Genoa, Illinois, in 1977. She was a member of the Bull Shoals United Methodist Church and the V.F.W. Auxiliary. She enjoyed reading and spending time with family.
Kaye is survived by her two sons, Bradley (Peggy) Carey of DeKalb, IL, and Bart (Pamela) Carey of Wood River, IL; daughter, Carla (Michael) Bolding of Mountain Home, AR; four grandchildren, Samantha, Garrett, Marina, and Stephanie and one great-granddaughter Adaiah.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brothers, and sisters.
Entombment will be in the Kirby's Tucker Memorial Mausoleum, Mountain Home, Arkansas, with Brad Carey, Bart Carey, Michael Bolding and Tom Walker as pallbearers.
Memorials may be made to the Hoevel-Barnett V.F.W. Post #1341 in Bull Shoals, Arkansas.
