A Funeral Service for Keith Herbert Partee of Lakeview, Arkansas, will be 2:00 pm, Wednesday, November 13, 2013, at Kirby & Family Funeral Home Chapel, with Reverend Steve Jones officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday, November 12, 2013 from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm, at the funeral home.
Keith passed away November 9, 2013, in Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 84. He was born December 1, 1928, in Amos, Arkansas, the son of Herbert and Jewell Crownover Partee. He married Hazel Ivie on March 21, 1953, at Mountain Home, Arkansas and was a cattle farmer. Keith was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War. Keith is a lifetime resident of the Lakeview area. He enjoyed bass fishing and hunting. Keith was an active member, song leader, deacon, and Sunday School teacher at the Freewill Baptist Church of Lakeview.
Keith is survived by his son, Bryan (Debbie) Partee of Lakeview, AR, four daughters, Janice (Don) Wilcox of Fayetteville, AR, Shirley (Mike) Nowlin of Yellville, AR, Sharon Swan of Mountain Home, AR, and Alice (Ronald) Marler of Lakeview, AR, seven grandchildren, Shane and Jeff Wilcox, Joey Nowlin, Bethany Hoyt, Michael Partee, and Garrett and Landon Marler; four great-grandchildren, Katy and Kyle Wilcox, Reagan Partee, and Kiley Grey; and sister, Carol (Kenneth) Morrow of Harrison, AR.
He was preceded in death by parents, wife, two brothers, Francis and Dwight Partee, and his fishing buddy, Paul Jones.
Burial will be in the Amos Cemetery, Lakeview, Arkansas, with Shane Wilcox, Jeff Wilcox, Joey Nowlin, Garrett Marler, Michael Partee, and Timothy Hoyt as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Landon Marler and Bethany Hoyt. Military Honors will be by the Alley-White American Legion #52 Honor Guard.
