Kenneth Gillespie

Kenneth O. Gillespie was born September 14, 1915 in Shelby County, Texas. He was the son of Alvin and Augusta Nolen Gillespie. He married Lucille Wood on April 30, 1942 in San Francisco, California. He was claims manager for the Home Insurance Company in Jonesboro, Arkansas. He lived in Morgan County, Tennessee and Jonesboro, Arkansas prior to moving to Charleston, Arkansas. He was of the Methodist faith. Kenneth O. Gillespie passed away at Sparks Regional Medical Center on August 13, 2005, at the age of 89 years, 10 months and 29 days. Survivors: Two sons, Mike Gillespie of Charleston, Arkansas and Ken Gillespie of Dallas, Texas and three grandchildren Preceded in Death by: Parents, wife and three brothers Funeral: A graveside funeral service for Kenneth O. Gillespie of Charleston, Arkansas, formerly of Jonesboro, will be 11:00 a.m., Saturday, August 20, 2005 at Kirby's Tucker Memorial Cemetery in Mountain Home, Arkansas with Reverend Randy Ludwig officiating.
