Kenneth Kennedy

Kenneth Kennedy was born May 10, 1922 at Thaxton, Mississippi to Gus and Lella Spears Kennedy. He married Bernice B. Buckowski on June 17, 1950 in Pacagoula, Mississippi. He was retired from the United States Air Force where he served as an Air Traffic Controller for 30 years. He was also a member of the First United Methodist Church, Mountain Home Masonic Lodge #225 F&AM, Twin Lakes Shrine Club, Elk's Lodge #1714 BPOE and Ozark V.F.W. Post #3246. Mr. Kennedy was also a veteran of World War II and the Korean Conflict. Kenneth Kennedy passed away at his residence on January 25, 2005, at the age of 82 years, 8 months and 15 days. Survivors: His wife, Bernice Kennedy of Gassville; 2 sons, Lynn Kennedy and wife, Cathy, of Grand Forks, North Dakota, and Michael Kennedy and wife, Arlene of Palm Bay, Florida; 4 grandchildren, Stephanie Hodous and Kelly Kennedy of Devel's Lake, North Dakota, Andrew Kennedy of Grand Forks, North Dakota, Molly Kennedy of Mesquite, Texas and Shean Kennedy of Chandler, Arizona; and one half-brother Preceded in Death by: His parents and one brother Funeral: A Memorial Service will be Monday, January 31, 2005 at 10:00 at the First United Methodist Church with Reverend Randy Ludwig officiating. Burial: Private
