Kenneth LaBar died Friday, July 25, 2008 in Gainesville at the age of 73. Kenneth LaBar was born Friday, February 8, 1935 in Corpus Christi, Texas, son of Harry LaBar and Edna Birdie Clark. He married Joann Simmons in Amarillo, Texas. He worked as a retired Tool and Die Maker for Southwest Tool and Die. Kenneth LaBar was a veteran of the U.S. Marines. Kenneth lived in Gainesville, recently moving from Borger, Texas. Survivors: Kenneth LaBar is survived by 1 son, Kenneth (Kim) LaBar of Fritch, TX, 1 daughter, Theresa LaBar of Prophetstown,, IL, 3 grandchildren, Kimberly Davidson, Kelsey LaBar, Quenton Stage, 1 brother, Harry LaBar of Morrisville, NC, 2 sisters, Edna Strator of Dixon, IL, Fran Taylor of Dixon, IL. Funeral: Services for Kenneth Ardell LaBar of Gainesville, MO, will be private. Burial: Memorial Park, Amarillo, Texas
