A Celebration of Life for Kenneth Lance of Bull Shoals, AR will be 2PM Saturday May 28, 2016, at Antioch Baptist Church in Flippin, AR with Pastor Danny Hutcherson officiating.
Kenneth passed away May 19, 2016, in Little Rock, Arkansas at the age of 80. He was born May 2, 1936, in Big Timber, Montana, the son of Earl and Leona Ship Lance. He worked in construction building supermarkets and on a job in Freeport, IL he met Beverly Wild and they married on April 3, 1993. Kenneth served his country in the U.S. Army and was a veteran of the Korean War . He wore his patriotism on his sleeve, tearing up at every playing of the national anthem. Kenneth was a member of Antioch Baptist Church. When he wasn't driving around in his old pick up truck, he was known for his love of four wheelers, hunting prairie dogs and guns.
Kenneth is survived by his wife, Beverly Lance of Bull Shoals, AR; daughter, Kelli Lance of Montana; step-children, JoJean Edler of Illinois, Robert Edler of Wisconsin and Richard Telling of Oregon; step-sisters, Dorothy O'Connell of Montana and Cherrie Crist of California; step-brother, John (Connie) Carpanie of Montana; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren and his dog, JR.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Burial with Military Honors will be in the Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery immediately following the service.
Memorials may be made to Antioch Baptist Church .
