Kenneth Saunders

A Celebration of Life for Kenneth Olin Saunders of Summit, Arkansas, will be 11:00 am, Friday, June 29, 2012, at Kirby & Family Funeral Home Chapel. Military Honors will be provided by Ozark V.F.W. Post #3246 Honor Guard. Kenneth passed away June 25, 2012, in Summit, Arkansas at the age of 60. He was born October 25, 1951, in Marion, Ohio, the son of William and Jennie Richards Saunders. He married Margaret "Peggy" Thrasher on December 24, 1997, at Brosley, Missouri. Kenneth was a disabled United States Army veteran of the Vietnam War. Kenneth lived in Summit, Arkansas since 1994 moving from Portland, Oregon. He was a Christian and enjoyed playing games and working on his computers. Kenneth is survived by his wife, Peggy Saunders; daughter, Gena (Bob) Ferrell of Yellville, AR; 3 sisters, Judy Saunders, Leah Saunders and Sue Eckenrode all of Doniphan, MO, and 3 grandchildren, James, Nathan and Holly. He was preceded in death by his parents. Memorials may be made to the Disabled American Veterans. Arrangements are by Kirby and Family Funeral and Cremation Services.
