Kenneth Watters

A funeral service for Kenneth Robert Watters of Lakeview, Arkansas, will be 2:30PM, Friday, April 9, 2010 at Kirby & Family Funeral Home Chapel, with Pastor Roy Crane officiating. Visitation will be from 5:00PM until 7:00PM, April 8, 2010 at the funeral home with family receiving friends from 5PM - 6PM. Kenneth died Tuesday, April 6, 2010 in Mountain Home, AR, at the age of 85. He was born April 25, 1924 in Lawton, OK, the son of LeRoy and Agnes L. Radney Watters. He married Joy Waggoner on May 25, 1944 at Lawton, Oklahoma. He owned and operated Ken's Sporting Goods and also an auto agency. Kenneth lived in Lakeview, Arkansas since Sept. 2003 moving from Sun City, California. He was a member of Calvary Bible Church of Midway. Kenneth is survived by his wife: Joy Watters of Lakeview, AR, one son - Randall Watters of Redondo Beach, CA, one daughter - Sue (Fred) Kite of Lakeview, AR, 2 grandchildren, Ken Kite and Tamara Mony, 6 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents. Burial will be in the Kirby's Tucker Memorial Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Calvary Bible Church or Hospice of the Ozarks.
