Kenny Henson

Kenny Henson died Monday, December 22, 2008 in Gassville at the age of 79. Kenny Henson was born Tuesday, August 27, 1929 in Rolla, Missouri, the son of Charles and Janie Sidwell Henson . He married Ruby Gray on November 3, 1949 at Jonesboro, Arkansas. He worked as a Police Officer for the Excelsior Springs, Missouri Police Department. Kenny Henson was a U.S. Air Force veteran of WWII and lived in Lakeview since 1998 moving from Excelsior Springs. Survivors: Kenny is survived by his wife, Ruby Henson, of Lakeview, two daughters: Debbra Coleman of Kansas City, Kansas and Verda (John) Eckley of Midway, Arkansas, one son: Dennis (Monica) Henson of Kansas City, Kansas, six Grandchildren: Dessarey (Peter) Klarlund, Wendy (Glenn) Haenisch, William Smith, Brandy Smith, Matthew Grass and Justin (Sherry) Walters, one brother: Tommy E. Henson of St. Charles, Missouri and one sister Helen Wagoner of Rolla, Missouri. Preceded in Death by: He was preceded in death by his parents and six siblings. Funeral: Memorial Service for Kenny Henson of Lakeview, AR, will be 2:00 P.M. Saturday, December 27, 2008 at Kirby & Family Funeral Home Chapel, with pastor Roy Crane officiating. Burial: Burial will be in Baxter Memorial Gardens with Ozark VFW Post 3246 Honor Guard providing Military Honors. Memorials: Memorials may be made to the Heart Association, Parkinson Association or Hospice of the Ozarks.
