Kerry Lee Kriegel

Kerry Lee Kriegel of Elizabeth, Arkansas, passed away November 10, 2020, in Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 65. He was born November 24, 1954, in Elgin, Illinois, the son of Edward and Carole Anderson Kriegel. He married Violet Hindy on August 1, 1987, in Fort Atkison, Wisconsin. Kerry proudly retired from the U.S. Navy after the Gulf War. Kerry lived in Elizabeth since moving from Wisconsin, in 2019. He was a long time member in good standing with the DMZMC. He enjoyed computers and riding his Harley. He loved watching football and the Green Bay Packers. He loved to know how things worked and enjoyed taking things apart to learn about them. Kerry was a loving brother, father, husband, and uncle, who will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

Kerry is survived by his two sons, Jason Daniel (Dwayne) Kriegel of Farmington, MN, and Paul Joseph (Roger Dilworth) Fellows of Toronto, Canada; nine sisters and one brother, Kristy Knight of Jacksonville, FL, Kelly Heederik of Norfolk, VA, Konnie (John) Kriegel of Gamaliel, AR, Moira (Leon) Friedrich of Bakersfield, MO, Robin Williams of Edgerton, WI, June Scholl of Lebanon, OH, Eric Jazdzewski of Madison, WI, Annie Jazdzewski of Madison, WI, Cathy Wall of Phoenix, AZ and Lorna Fox of Geneva, OH; six grandchildren, Michael Hibbitts, Jay Kriegel, Timothy Kriegel, Amanda Kriegel, Ashlee (Tony) Kriegel Newburn, and Shikyra Kriegel; two great-grandchildren, James and Alexander Newburn; two nieces, Tiffany Hindy of Elmsdale and Shannon Heederik of Virginia Beach, VA; and two nephews, Terry Heederik of Phoenix, AZ and Patrick Knight of Jacksonville, FL.

He was preceded in death by his parents and wife.

A Graveside Service with military honors for Kerry will be 2:00 pm, Friday, December 11, 2020, at Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Union Grove, Wisconsin. Due to current restrictions, masks are required.

Memorials may be made to the VFW Post #11038 in Waterford, Wisconsin.
