Kevin Lewis McAliney

Kevin Lewis McAliney of Mountain Home, Arkansas, passed away February 2, 2023, in Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 32. He was born January 18, 1991, in Quincy, Illinois, the son of James F. and Lynette Lewis McAliney. He married his high school sweetheart Kayla Wensel on April 16, 2022. He was employed as a Maintenance Technician and Groundskeeper for a local apartment complex.

Kevin is survived locally by his wife, Kayla McAliney; mother, Lynette (J. R. Jones) McAliney; son, Dane McAliney; daughters, Blair McAliney and Addison Todd; brother, John McAliney; sister, Jessica (Robert - his lifelong friend) Hogard; nephews, Braxton and James Hogard; niece, McKenzie Hogard and his black Labrador, Jack, who was his most beloved and loyal companion. Also surviving are many aunts and uncles, including Tom (Mindy) McAliney of Lake St. Louis, MO; and numerous cousins.

Kevin was a graduate of Mountain Home High School. He was always the funniest guy in the room and was such a happy, loving person. He will be sorely missed by family and friends alike.

He was preceded in death by his father, paternal grandparents, Barbara and Robert McAliney and maternal grandparents Donna and Ralph Lewis.

A visitation for family and friends will be held Thursday February 9, 2023, from 10-11 at Kirby and Family Funeral Home in Mountain Home, Arkansas.

Burial will be in the Kirby's Tucker Memorial Cemetery, Mountain Home, AR.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Kevin’s children.
