Funeral Services for Kiku Campbell of Gassville, Arkansas, will be 10:00 am, Wednesday, May 1, 2013, at Kirby & Family Funeral Home Chapel, with Brother Ronnie Davenport officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday, April 30, 2013 from 5:00 - 7:00 pm, at the funeral home.
Kiku passed away April 28, 2013, in Gassville, Arkansas at the age of 69. She was born December 2, 1943, in Miyako, Japan, the daughter of Kane and Kame Tomori. She married Howard Campbell on August 3, 1970 at Okinawa, Japan and worked on the assembly line at Baxter Laboratories. Kiku lived in Gassville since 1971, moving from Japan. She was a member of the Cotter Church of Christ. She enjoyed birds, fishing, wrestling and baseball.
Kiku is survived by her husband, Howard Campbell of Gassville, AR; son, Joseph (Valerie) Campbell of Jonesboro, AR; grandchild, Katherine Campbell of Jonesboro, AR; two brothers, Sei-ei Tomori and Mitsuo Tomori; one sister, Fumi Tomori and nephew, Kazubo Tomori all of Okinawa, Japan.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother and two sisters.
Burial will be in the Gassville Cemetery, Gassville, AR, with Harold Bates, Jackie Holmes, Harvey Parnell, Mike Tetrick, Danny Ohler and E.J. Weatherford as pallbearers.
Memorials may be made to Cotter Church of Christ.
