Kim was born October 10, 1958 at Holland, Michigan to Robert E. and Gloria Mink Wiles. She married Edward Duffin on June 7, 2003 in Bull Shoals. She was a registered nurse with Care Manor Nursing Home in Mountain Home. Kim earned a BA Degree from the University of California at Davis and her R.N. from Arkansas State University in Mountain Home. Kim was employed with Hospice of the Ozarks for 4 years where she loved helping the elderly and was past president of Arkansas District 7 Nurses Association. She was also a member of the Ladies Club and Â?A Course in MiraclesÂ? study group in Pontiac and she loved to travel, dance and garden. She passed away on November 1, 2004 at her residence at the age of 46 years and 21 days. Survivors: her husband, Edward of Pontiac; parents, Robert and Gloria Wiles of Bull Shoals; brother, Jeffrey (Jennifer) Wiles of Portland, Oregon; sister, Suzanne Leslie Wiles of Hilton Head Island, South Carolina; 3 nephews; stepchildren, Dawn Marie (Glen) Wright of Granite City, Il., Darin and Hiedi Duffin of Glen Carbon, Il.; step-daughter-in-law, Kathy Duffin of Keokuk, Iowa; step-grandchildren, Aaron and Abigail Wright of Granite City, Il., Alex, Emily and Ashley Duffin of Glen Carbon, Il., Ashley Duffin of Edwardsville, Il., and David, Andrew and Jacob Duffin of Keokuk, Iowa. Preceded in Death by: her maternal grandparents, Leon and Florence Mink of Lakeview and paternal grandparents, Bernard and Mildred Wiles of Shrewsbury, Mass. Funeral: 10:00 A.M. on Saturday, November 13, 2004 at the Bull Shoals Presbyterian Church with Dr. Fred Taylor officiating. Burial: Kirby's Tucker Memorial Mausoleum. Memorials: Hospice of the Ozarks.
