A Memorial Service for Kyoung Nam Shin of Mountain Home, Arkansas, will be 10:00 am, Wednesday, November 4, 2015, at the Korean Presbyterian Church of Springfield, Missouri.
Kyoung passed away October 29, 2015, in Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 58. He was born July 19, 1957, in Chung Yang, South Korea, the son of Tae Hwa Shin and Soo Hee Lee. He married Hyun Bok Kim on October 3, 1981, in Chung Yang, South Korea and lived in Mountain Home since 1994, moving from Seoul, South Korea. Kyoung was raised by two faithful servants of the Lord, and he led his family with the same values. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, golfing, fishing and playing tennis. He loved the challenge of learning new things and was extremely tech savvy.
Kyoung is survived by his parents, Tae Hwa Shin and Soo Hee Lee of Ansan, South Korea; wife, Hyun Bok Shin of Mountain Home, AR; son, Jong Shin of Bentonville, AR; daughter and son-in-law, Sara Shin and Phu Huynh of Little Rock, AR and three sisters, Kyoung Suk Shin, Kyoung Sun Shin and Kyoung Eun Shin all of South Korea.
Memorials may be made to UAMS Winthrop P. Rockefeller Cancer Institute, 4018 W. Capital Ave., Little Rock, AR 72205.
