LaDerrick Searles

LaDerrick Edward Searles of Mountain Home, Arkansas, was embraced into the arms of angels, October 12, 2024, in Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 18. He was born January 3, 2006, in Dallas, Texas. At eight months old, he came into the lives of his loving parents, Burton L. and Nellie V. Searles. LaDerrick enjoyed watching cartoons and loved listening to music. He was a member of Twin Lakes Baptist Church and particularly enjoyed hearing the choir and singing along with them. LaDerrick was a precious boy who filled the room with his bright smile and laughter.

LaDerrick is survived by his devoted mother, Nellie Searles of Mountain Home, AR; sisters, Wendy (Ernie) Gonzalez of Lewisville, TX, and Angel Searles of Mountain Home, AR; nieces and nephews, Sherri Briley, Kristi Frugé, Brian (Eva) Gonzalez, James Searles, and Ryan Searles; and great-niece, Harper Briley.

He was preceded in death by his father; Burton L. Searles; and brother, Michael Garner. 

Visitation will be Monday, October 21, 2024, 1:00 pm, at Twin Lakes Baptist Church. A Memorial Service for LaDerrick will begin at 2:00 pm with Dr. Sam Bailey officiating.

Memorials may be made to Twin Lakes Baptist Church.
