Lane Anderson

Lane Bayliss Anderson passed away November 5, 2016, in Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 82. He was born July 2, 1934, in Rockford, Illinois, the son of Henry and Marian Griffey Anderson. He married Carol Oskins on March 12, 1960, at Rockford, IL and worked as a senior design engineer. Lane lived in Mountain Home since 2002, moving from Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
Lane is survived by his wife, Carol Anderson of Mountain Home, AR; daughter, Steffane (Phillip) Thompson of Machesney Park, IL; two brothers, Lynn Anderson of Machesney Park, IL, and Adrian Anderson of Lufkin, TX; numerous nieces and nephews and his beloved dog, Emi.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Darlene Loy and sons, Christopher and Gregory.
We wish to give special thanks to Hospice of the Ozarks, the Area Agency on Aging, and Good Samaritan Nursing Home for providing care during the last months of his illness.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
