Larry Vern Christensen

Larry Vern Christensen of Mountain Home, Arkansas, passed away February 6, 2021, in Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 70. He was born February 4, 1951, in Melrose Park, Illinois, the son of Howard and Minnetta Tassainer Christensen. He married Barbara Selders on November 1, 1975, in Addison, Illinois and had three children. Larry worked the majority of his life as a partsman for heavy duty trucks and finished his career at an auto parts store in Mountain Home. He moved to Mountain Home from Addison, Illinois, in 2000. Larry enjoyed spending time with his family and grandsons.

Larry is survived by his wife, Barbara Christensen of Mountain Home, AR; three children, Peter (Kayla) Christensen of Mountain Home, AR, Bonnie (Shannon) Reed of Cherokee Village, AR, and Colleen (Scott) Christensen-Skowronski of Mountain Home, AR; he was the dearest grandfather to Rolland, Oren, Peter, and Liam; and brother-in-law to Thomas (Kristin) Selders and Robert Selders.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brother.
