Larry Pyle

Larry Warren Pyle, 76, passed away on Wednesday, February 7, 2024, in Mountain Home, Arkansas. Larry was born on December 24, 1947, in Princeton, IN, to Howard and Jean Downen Pyle. He graduated from Robert E. Lee High School in Baytown, Texas and went on to earn a Bachelor's of Psychology from Harding University in Searcy, Arkansas. Larry served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He married Linda Johnson on June 21, 1969 in Houston, Texas. He started his career working for Red Wing Shoes, and went on to manage and co-own a store. Larry later worked at First National Bank until his retirement. The couple have lived in Midway, Arkansas for the last 20 years. Larry was a football and basketball fanatic. He enjoyed restoring old cars and going fishing. Larry's favorite place to be was sitting out on the deck, watching the deer, and listening to the birds.

Larry is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Linda Pyle of Midway, AR; daughter, Melissa Pyle of Flippin, AR; son, Matthew Pyle of Midway, ARr; sisters, Kay Hudec and Barbara Havens; brother, David Pyle; aunt, Dorothy Travis; grandchildren, Peyton and MaKenzie; and a host of extended family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents.
