Larry Eugene Tankersley, 60, passed away on Thursday, December 8, 2022, in Little Rock, Arkansas.
Larry was born on June 15, 1962, in Oakland, California, to Elmer and Lois Tankersley. He graduated from high school in Vicenza, Italy. He served four years in the Air Force. He had a career as a truck driver for 35 years.
Larry loved outdoor sports, Ozark history, and riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle in the Ozarks. He also enjoyed helping others in their motorcycle restoration projects. Larry and his Harley club friends placed wreaths on military headstones during the Christmas season. He also enjoyed building model planes and flying them. He played his guitar in the evening. He also loved spending time with his dog, Duce.
Larry is survived by his parents, Elmer and Lois Tankersley of Mountain Home, Arkansas; son, Wayne Tankersley; brother, Dan (Feather) Tankersley; and nephew Jason.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents and his girlfriend, Dee.
