Laverne Shirley Heneise was born on February 24, 1927 in Oak Park, Illinois. She was the daughter of Reynold L. and Dorothy Rose Lehky. Laverne Lehky married the late Oscar L. Heneise on May 26, 1956 in Elgin, Illinois. Mrs. Heneise was a homemaker and member of the Candy Bone Stroke Club. She moved from Elgin, Illinois to Mountain Home, Arkansas in 1992, where she joined the Holy Cross Lutheran Church. Laverne Shirley Heneise passed away at the Auburn Hills Health and Rehabilitation Center in Mountain Home Arkansas on December 29, 2004 at the age of 77 years, 10 months and 2 days. Survivors: Daughter Diane White of Mountain Home, Arkansas; brother Bruce (Margaret) Lehky of Rochester, New York; three grandchildren, Bethany (Jason) Steger Weaver of Cabot, Arkansas, and Justin and Jim Steger of Mountain Home, Arkansas; and two great-grandsons. Preceded in Death by: Her parents, husband, and daughter Julie Funeral: A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, January 1, 2005 at Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Mountain Home, Arkansas.
