Lawrence Behrens

A Celebration of Life for Lawrence Behrens, 81, of Bull Shoals, AR will be 3PM Sunday January 29th, 2012, at Kirby & Family Funeral Home in Bull Shoals with Pastor Donnie Hudson officiating. Lawrence Behrens died January 25th, 2012. Lawrence was born February 26, 1930, to Edward and Ruth Behrens at Middletown, OH. He married Gloria on September 8, 1951 at Middleton, Ohio. Lawrence served his country as a Naval Air Corp Veteran of the Korean War. He lived in Arkansas for 20 years, moving from Circleville, Ohio. Larry worked as an Engineer, a natural fit for a man whom started working as a mechanic at age 15. He was also a dairy and poultry farmer. Larry loved the outdoors especially hunting and fishing. He was a Past Master Mason in Wisconsin and a member of the Twin Lakes Shrine Club of Mountain Home, AR. Lawrence is survived by wife, Gloria of Bull Shoals, AR.; daughters, Sherry Nichols of Joplin, MO, Sandy Armour (Rob) of St. Peters, MO, Julie Biegel (Jeff) of Eau Claire, WI. Robin Mueller of Chippewa Falls, WI; son, Bo Behrens (Jeanne) of Irma, WI; 11 grandsons, 2 granddaughters and 6 great-grandchildren. Larry was preceded in death by his parents, one sister and son-in-law, David Mueller. Memorials may be made to Hospice House of the Ozarks in Mountain Home, AR.
