Larry passed away July 10, 2017, in Yellville, Arkansas at the age of 79. He was born June 6, 1938, in Gary, Indiana, the son of George and Edna Pavol. Larry was born and raised in Gary, IN. He worked as a Firefighter for the city of Gary and as a carpenter during his off hours. Larry served his country as a veteran of United States Navy. He moved to Arkansas 26 years ago and loved the outdoors, fishing, kayaking, and hiking. Larry continued his carpentry and specialized in carving copies of old wood duck decoys.
Larry is survived by his wife, Joyce Pavol of Yellville, AR; daughters, Elyse (Tony) Meyer of TN and Jennifer (Reggie) Alphin of CA; son,Todd Pavol of IL; grandchildren, Brandon and Caylan Obando of CA and brother, George Pavol of IN.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two children, Kelly and Mark and his sister Katherine Krueger.
Arrangements are by Kirby and Family Funeral and Cremation Services.
