Lee Morris died Saturday, September 13, 2008 in Mountain Home at the age of 81. He was born Thursday, September 1, 1927 in Fulton County, Arkansas, son of Steve and Annabelle Morrison Morris. He owned and operated Lake Country Pest Control. Lee Morris was a WWII veteran of the U.S. Army. Lee lived in Mountain Home since 1970 moving from Wasco, California. He enjoyed raising chickens, fishing, sports, especially baseball and country music. Survivors: Lee Morris is survived by 3 daughters, Gloria (Don) Cotter of Mountain Home, AR, Janet (Steve) Thomas of Woodlake, CA and Virginia Brown of Mountain Home, AR, 1 son, David (Marilyn) Morris of Joplin, MO, 2 brothers, Harvey Morris of Nipomo, CA and James Morris of Alpaugh, CA, 9 grandchildren, Curt, Stacey, Holly, Phillip, Danny, Janie, Katy, Dave Jr. and Steven, 7 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, former wife, Reba Noonis of Mountain Home, AR and special friend, Ruby Loftus of Gainesville, MO. Preceded in Death by: He was preceded in death by his parents, brother and 1 son, Danny. Visitation: Visitation was from 6-8 P.M., Monday, September 15 at Kirby & Family Funeral Home. Funeral: Funeral services for Lee Vernon Morris of Mountain Home, AR, will be 10:00 A.M. Tuesday, September 16, 2008 at Kirby & Family Funeral Home Chapel, with Major Jeff Daniel officiating.
