Lela Hardee was born Tuesday, December 6, 1927 at Skeedie, Oklahoma, the daughter of Charlie and Ludee Gay Bradley Earnest. She married Jack Hardee on 1970 at Gonzalas, California. She worked as a Meat Wraper for Safeway Stores and had lived in the Mountain Home area since moving from Salinas, California in 1994. She was a member of the Baptist Church and enjoyed gardening, loved her pets, and taking care of her home and family. Survivors: Mrs. Hardee is survived by 1 daughter, Lynn (William) Gabbard of Mountain Home; 2 Granddaughters, Janice Lee Alverez and June Lynn Pacheco of Live Oak, California; 8 Great Grandchildren; 2 sisters, Opal Toothman and Evelyn Porterfield of Prue, Oklahoma. Preceded in Death by: She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, parents, 3 brothers, and 1 sister. Visitation: Visitation will be from 5-8 P.M., Monday, November 26 at Kirby & Family Funeral Home. Funeral: Funeral Services for Lela Lee Hardee of Mountain Home, Arkansas, will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 27, 2007 at Kirby & Family Funeral Home Chapel, with Reverend Randy Ludwig officiating. Burial: Entombment will be in the Kirby's Tucker Memorial Mausoleum in Mountain Home. Memorials: Memorials may be made to Hospice of the Ozarks . Active Bearers: Carl Pickett, Dale Foresythe, Norman Johnson, Tony Rosenbalm will be pallbearers.
