Buzzy Dew was born November 21, 1942 to Leon A. and Dorothy Coatsworth Dew. He married Jean Ellen Nusch on April 30, 1967 in Mountain Home. Buzzy was an insurance agent and owner of North Arkansas Insurance, Inc. since 1976 and was a member of St. Thomas Anglican Church. Buzzy was past president and 40 year member of the Mountain Home Lions Club, past president and member of the Twin Lakes Shrine Club, member of the Mountain Home Masonic Lodge #225 F&AM, former member of the Baxter County Quorum Court, longtime member of the Variance Board, member of BPOE #1714 (Elks) and a longtime member of the Mountain Home Band Boosters. Buzzy loved the outdoors, running, boating and the lakes. Survivors: Wife-Jean Dew , 2 Daughters Debra (Tim) Chaney,and Leslie (Scott) Dew, 2 Grandchildren Megan and Gaige Chaney all of Mountain Home. 2 Sisters-in-Law, Carol Nusch of Gassville, and Nita (Herby) Swearingen of Mountain Home.2 nieces, Shelly Floyd and Wendy Creasy. 2 Nephews Tyler and Stewart Swearingen, Devoted Friend Marie Collie of Mountain Home, One Siter and several cousins and other nieces and nephews.
