Leona "Pat" Murphy

Leona "Pat" Murphy of Bull Shoals, Arkansas, passed away June 3, 2022, in Bull Shoals, Arkansas at the age of 87. She was born August 1, 1934, in Chicago, Illinois, the daughter of Leo and Venita Monzel Lemke. She married James Murphy on January 14,1953, in Chicago, IL. Pat worked at the Chicago Stock Exchange and as an office manager for a medical practice, but for most of her life she was a stay at home mom who took care of her family. Pat lived in Bull Shoals since moving from Chicago, in 1996. She was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church in Tinley Park, IL and attended Christ by Lake Lutheran Church in Bull Shoals, AR. She was the center of her family and loved teaching her granddaughters.

Pat is survived by her daughters, Brigitte (Kurt) Schultz of Bull Shoals, AR, Lynn (Jim) Romanenghi of IL, and Kathy (Al) Sechel of WI; brother, William Lemke of Fairview, AR; brothers, Arthur Lemke of IL and Leo Lemke of KY; grandchildren, Joshua, Erin (Rob), Nicole(Derrick), Nathan and Elliot; great grandchildren, Lizzie(Dillon), Jimmy, Sam (Mercedes), Collin, Cade, Charlie and Quinn; great-grandchildren, Bentley, Beau, and Liam and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, James Murphy and brother, Raymond Lemke.

A Funeral Service for Pat will be 10:00 am, Monday, June 13, 2022, at Kirby & Family Funeral Home Chapel in Bull Shoals, AR, with Pastor Jon Norvell, officiating.
