Leona White

April 30, 1910 — September 24, 2005

Leona Gladys White was born April 30, 1910 in Medford, Oklahoma. She was the daughter of Daniel Joseph and Minnie V. Archer Boruff. She married Arthur M. White in Yuma, Arizona on July 18, 1951. The White family moved to Mountain Home, Arkansas in 1968. Mrs. White was a homemaker. Arthur and Leona White were former owners of Shady Grove Court in Mountain Home, and members of First Presbyterian Church in Jefferson, Oklahoma for 84 years. Leona Gladys White passed away at Baxter Regional Medical Center on September 24, 2005, at the age of 95 years, 4 months and 24 days. Survivors: One son, Donald E. Davis of Ronan, Montana; one daughter, Ramona Hamilton of Mountain Home; and two sisters, Betty (Jack) Delay of Medford, Oklahoma and Vivian Schuelke of Waukita, Oklahoma Preceded in Death by: Parents; first husband, Claude L. Davis who passed away January 1, 1944; second husband, Arthur M. White, who passed away in 1980; one son, Milton E. Davis; one daughter, Shirley Doane; three brothers and one sister Funeral: Graveside service at Lamont Cemetery in Lamont, Oklahoma; Friday, September 30, 2005; 2:00 p.m. with Reverend Lonie Stephens and Tammey Gibble officiating Memorials: Hospice of the Ozarks, 701 Burnett Drive, Mountain Home, Arkansas 72653
