Leonard Bandy

A Memorial Service for Leonard L. Bandy will be 11 AM Saturday, March 9, 2013, at Kirby & Family Funeral & Cremation Services in Bull Shoals, Arkansas with son-in-law, Jeff Wilson officiating. Burial will be in Hand Valley Cemetery. Leonard passed away at his home March 5, 2013 at Mountain Home, Arkansas. He was 80 years old. Leonard was born May 14, 1932, at Wilson, OK to William Elihu and Margaret Geneva Renfro Bandy. Leonard married Guyla Hopper April 2, 1990, in Missouri. Leonard made his living as a carpenter in the construction industry, but he always enjoyed building and tinkering with things. He was a generous man who was always helping others. Leonard enjoyed life and spent many happy years traveling with Guyla in their motor home. Leonard is survived by his wife Guyla of Flippin, Ar; two daughters, Sandy Wilson (Jeff) of Redding, Ca and Linda Reed (Phil) of Red Bluff, Ca; one brother, Carl Bandy of Gold Beach, OR; five grandchildren, Trina Langley (Josh), Robert Leal, Amber Gregory (Mike), Angela Mellis, and James Wilson (Jessi); twelve great-grandchildren, Alyssa, Carlie, Taylor, Madison, Abigail, Miles, Brittany, Brianna, Michael, Ginger, Olivia, and Jayne as well as many other family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers and one sister. Memorials may be made to the charity of your choice. Arrangements are by Kirby & Family Funeral & Cremation Services.
