Leonard was born December 15, 1926 in Tulsa, OK, son of Tyree Newbill and Dorothy Kelley. He married Mary Anderson on September 26, 1946 at Fort Scott, Kansas. He served his country in the United States Navy during WWII and the Army during the Korean War. Leonard worked as machinist for Reyco Company. He enjoyed going to the casinos, camping and fishing, but his greatest passion was his family.
Leonard is survived by sons, Samuel (Audrey) Newbill of Fayetteville, AR and Mark Allen Newbill both of Fayetteville, AR, daughter, Gwen Kyle (David) of Lakeview, AR; ten grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. He was preceded in death by his parents and wife.
Arrangements are by Kirby and Family Funeral and Cremation Services.
