Leroy Higgins

F. Leroy Higgins was born on December 27, 1915 at Glenelder, Kansas to David and Mae Oliver Higgins. He married Alice M. Trivett on August 18, 1939 at Rosedale Kansas. He was a U.S. Army WWII Veteran and a Presbyterian. Leroy Higgins was a school teacher in the Shawnee Mission Kansas School district for 25 years. He moved to the Mountain Home area in 1978 from Prairie Village Kansas. He passed away at Mountain Home on August 26, 2006 at the age of 90 years, 7 months and 29 days. Survivors: He is survived by his Son Robert Higgins and his wife Linda of Durango, Colorado and two grandsons Jason and Andrew Higgins. Preceded in Death by: Parents, wife and one brother Funeral: Graveside Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, August 29, 2006 at the Kirby's Tucker Memorial Cemetery with Dr. Bruce McClendon officiating.
