Les Hobson

Les Hobson died Wednesday, August 6, 2008 in Mountain Home at the age of 82. He was born Saturday, May 15, 1926 in Atwood, Kansas, the son of Orrell Myron and Ethel Saddler Hobson. He married Dixie Lee Ginter on June 17, 1948 at St. Joseph, Missouri and worked as a Salesman for Crane Supply/Westburn Plumbing. Les was a U.S. Navy veteran of WWII and lived in Mountain Home since 1990 moving from Kansas City, Missouri. He was a member of Theodosia Methodist Church. Survivors: He is survived by his wife, Dixie Hobson of Theodosia, MO and 3 sons, Roger (KaCey) Hobson of Overland Park, KS, Steven Hobson of Kansas City, MO and Rick (Cheryl) Hobson of Raymore, KS, 6 grandchildren, and 3 sisters. Preceded in Death by: He was preceded in death by his parents, 1 brother and 2 sisters. Funeral: Memorial services for Les Hobson of Mountain Home, AR, will be 11:00 A.M. Saturday, August 16, 2008 at the Theodosia Methodist Chruch, with Pastor Pam Ekay officiating. Burial: Burial will be in the Lutie Cemetery, Theodosia, Missouri. Memorials: Memorials may be made to the Hospice of the Ozarks or Theodosia Methodist Church.
