Leslie Ann Vawter

June 1, 1966 — March 28, 2016

Leslie Ann Vawter of Mountain Home, Arkansas, passed away March 28, 2016, at the age of 49. Leslie is survived by her husband of 30 years, Michael Vawter; son, Jon Vawter; daughter, Kate Vawter and mother, Nan Weaver all of Mountain home, AR; brother, Eddie (Kim) Weaver and their children, Ross and Peyton of Bryant, AR and Alexandria (Dane) Duffield of Stuttgart, AR; aunts, Jean Pennel of August, GA; Ben Dean Malone of Memphis, TN, Sandy (Wilson) Holman of Charlotte, AR and Jean Weaver of Newport, AR as well as a host of family and friends. Leslie was preceded in death by her father, Ed Weaver.

Leslie graduated from the University of Central Arkansas at Conway with a degree in English/Library and taught in several Arkansas schools. Being a librarian, Leslie loved books and reading was her favorite pastime.

After moving to Mountain Home, in 1996, Leslie and Michael purchased Razorback Office Supply and Twin Lakes Supply. In 2008, they constructed a new building and combined both companies into Supply Solutions and later added the Mountain Valley Spring Water distributorship. Leslie was a vital asset to their business until cancer caused her health to decline and she was unable to continue.

Leslie was known and loved for her beautiful smile. She was a patient at the Hospice House from December 2015 until her death where she was treated with excellent loving care. Even though she was very ill and in severe pain, she would greet any person who came into her room with her angelic smile.
