Lessie Waynette Langston was born March 8, 1950, in Ashville, North Carolina. She was the daughter of Earl and Margie Spivey Anderson. She married William Langston on October 23, 1982, in Cotter, Arkansas. Lessie Langston lived in Cotter since moving from Lincoln Park, Michigan, in 1981. She was a homemaker and member of the Fundamental Pentacostal Assemblies. Lessie Waynette Langston passed away March 7, 2006, at the age of 55 years, 11 months and 29 days. Survivors: She is survived by her husband Bill Langston of Cotter; son Roy James Wooten; two stepsons, Ronnie (Bonnie) Langston of Cotter and Larry Ray Langston of Gladstone, Missouri; stepdaughter Brenda (Tony) Pacheo of Cocoa Beach, Florida; eight grandchildren; two brothers, Don (Kathy) Anderson of Wood Haven, Michigan, and Michael (Angie) Anderson of Gentry, Arkansas; sister Earlene Cartwright of Longview, Texas; and several nieces and nephews. Preceded in Death by: She was preceded in death by her parents. Visitation: Visitation will be from 5:00-8:00 P.M. Thursday, March 9 at Kirby-Boaz Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral: Graveside Services for Lessie Waynette Langston, 55, of Cotter will be at 2:00 P.M. Friday, March 10 at Walnut Hill Cemetery in Cotter. Burial: Walnut Hill Cemetery in Cotter Memorials: Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
