Flippin

Lillie Iona Dean, passed away on December 7, 2024, in her beloved home in Flippin, Arkansas, at the age of 67. Lillie was born on June 24, 1957, in Old Joe, Arkansas, to Frank and Maxcine Harris Tilley. Lillie's journey through life was marked by love and dedication. She married Lonnie Dean on July 13, 1973, in Mountain Home, Arkansas. Together, they built a beautiful family and shared countless precious memories. Lillie was not only a devoted wife and mother but also a devoted nurse and director of nursing, where her compassion and care touched the lives of many at the hospital and local nursing homes.

A lover of the simple pleasures in life, Lillie found joy in sewing and immersing herself in books. She adored the outdoors, where she spent time with her animals, especially her cherished chickens. Her warmth and nurturing spirit will be missed by all who knew her.

Lillie leaves behind her son, Jason Dean of Flippin, AR, and two daughters, Racheal (Michael) Hamilton and Susan Dean, both of Flippin, AR. Her legacy of love continues through her four grandchildren, Damien Dean, Daisy Dean, Ryan (Cassie) Dean, and Austin (Leah) Lee, as well as eight wonderful great-grandchildren: Huntter, Eli, Kendra, Ronan, Cleo, Eden, Asher, and Thomas. She is lovingly remembered by her three brothers, Amon (Katherine) Tilley, Lonnie (Katherine) Tilley, and Frank Tilley; and her three sisters, Anita Trivet, Irene (Tracy Bennitt) Ferris, and Anna Heiskill. Lillie was reunited in peace with her parents, Frank and Maxcine Tilley; her beloved husband, Lonnie Ottis Dean; her daughter, Heather Dean-Harris; and five brothers, James, Beaver, Lewis, Bobby, and Dale Tilley, in eternal rest.

A Graveside Funeral Service will be held in her honor at 1:00 pm on Thursday, December 12, 2024, at Galatia Cemetery in Norfork, Arkansas. Pallbearers will be Ryan Dean, Austin Lee, Damien Dean, Tracey Bennitt, Nick Tollen, and David Simmons. Arrangements have been entrusted to Kirby and Family Funeral and Cremation Services in Mountain Home, Arkansas.
