A Celebration of Life for Linda Lou Cooper of Mountain Home, Arkansas, will be 2:00 pm, Saturday, January 21, 2017, at Kirby & Family Funeral Home Chapel.
Linda passed away January 13, 2017, in Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 65. She was born August 4, 1951, in Peach Orchard, Missouri, the daughter of Leo and Ida Kelley Sullivan. She graduated from the nursing program at Southeast Missouri State University, with honors, and was a Registered Nurse for Saint Francis Hospital in Cape Girardeau, Missouri. Linda lived in Mountain Home since moving from Cape Girardeau, Missouri, in 2011. She enjoyed reading, working puzzles, playing cards, and spending time with her family and friends.
Linda is survived by her son, Brian (Tammy) Cooper of Fredericktown, MO; daughter, Christa (Sean) Howarth of Dumont, CO; three sisters, Delores (Leland) George of Midway, AR, Elaine (David) Sondy of Mountain Home, AR, and Vicki (Cecil) Freeman of Dexter, MO, five grandchildren, Allyssa, Brianna, Christian, Dakota, and Hassan.
She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Leo, Billy, and Glen Sullivan; two sisters, Rosemary Avery and Pat LeCroy; and a grandson Cyrus Howarth-Cooper.
Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
