Linda Jo Hisky

Linda Jo Hisky of Mountain Home, Arkansas, passed away June 12, 2024, in Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 76. She was born October 12, 1947, in Steele, Missouri, the daughter of Justin and Pauline Powers Edwards. She was an executive assistant for the Chamber of Commerce. She married Donald on December 29, 2002, in Blytheville, Arkansas. Linda lived in Mountain Home since moving from Blytheville, in 2015. She was a member of the Real Life Church, ESA, and the Elks Lodge #2276. She enjoyed cooking, taking food to friends and family, and working in the garden. Linda was a devoted volunteer for Baxter Health and the Mruk Family Center on Aging.

Linda is survived by her husband, Donald Hisky of Mountain Home, AR; daughter, Monica Mills of Mountain Home, AR; grandchild, Daniel Schrecengost; great-grandchild, Bentley Isiah Schrecengost; three sisters, Paulette Thaxton, Yvonne (Michael) Warren, and Bonita (BJ) Jones; sister-in-law, Libby Edwards. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Jerry Wayne Edwards; and granddaughter, Melanie Schrecengost. 

Visitation will be Tuesday, June 18, 2024, from 1:00 pm until service time, at Kirby & Family Funeral Home. A Funeral Service for Linda will be 2:00 pm, Tuesday, June 18, 2024, at Kirby & Family Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Kirby's Tucker Memorial Cemetery, Mountain Home, Arkansas. Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Arrangements are by Kirby and Family Funeral and Cremation Services - Mountain Home, Arkansas.
