Funeral Services for Linda Lee Jordan of Mountain Home, Arkansas, will be 2:00 PM Saturday, October 22, 2011, at Kirby and Family Funeral Home Chapel, with Deacon Bob Crawford officiating. Visitation will be from 1:00 PM until service time.
Linda passed away Thursday, October 20, 2011, at Mountain Home, at the age of 64. Linda was born March 30, 1947, in Chicago, IL, the daughter of Edward and Irene Stevenson Childress. She married Donald Ray Jordan on June 2, 1984, at Mountain Home. She worked as a Cosmetologist. She lived in Mountain Home, Arkansas for 34 years, moving from Aurora, IL.
Linda is survived by 3 sons, Randy Porter of Lafayette, LA, Christopher Jordan, of Mountain Home, AR, Jeremiah Jordan, of Mountain Home, AR; daughter, Tisha Hewitt of Fredericksburg, TX; sister, Marie (Dennis) Gruber of Mountain Home, AR; brother, Edward Childress of Mountain Home, AR; 9 grandchildren, Justin, Chelsie, Haylè, Tyler, Brooke, Brandon, Joshua, Anthony, and Tessa; mother-in-law, Leona Warner; numerous nieces and nephews, and lifelong friend, Shirley Gessner, of Mountain Home, AR.
She was preceded in death by her parents,husband, daughter, Jessica Marie, and sister, Barbara Simon.
Burial will be in the Kirby's Tucker Memorial Cemetery with Christopher Jordan, Randy Porter, Jeremiah Jordan, Dennis Gruber, Tyler Porter, Billy Warner, and Haylè Porter as pallbearers.
Arrangements are by Kirby & Family Funeral and Cremation Services.
