Linda S. Matz

Linda Matz passed away peacefully with her loving husband of over 50 years, Warren, at her bedside on June 6, 2018, in their home, at the age of 70. She was born October 23, 1947, in Rahway, New Jersey, the daughter of Wilbur and Angelinia Spinella Swisstack. She married Warren on April 6, 1968, in Winfield Park, New Jersey. Linda was very active throughout her life with various organizations, including The Cub Scout Bobcats, and the PTA while Kevin and Steven were in school. While in New Jersey, Linda would spend the summers with the boys in Cape May, New Jersey as we all loved the ocean. After moving to Mountain Home in 2004, she was very active in the Welcome Club, several Bunco Groups, the Red Hats, Lady Elks, and was a past Ladies Auxiliary President of Chapter 581 Military Order of the Purple Hearts. In her spare time, her passion was watching old cowboy shows from the late 1960's and 1970's. Her favorite was "Cheyanne" and spending time in the pool. Her all-time favorite movie was "Miracle on 34th Street."

Linda is survived by her husband, Warren Matz of Mountain Home, AR, two sons, Steven (Karen) Matz of Hot Springs, AR, and Kevin (Rebecca) Matz of Max Meadows, VA, and step-granddaughter, Addison.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Funeral Services for Linda will be private.
