Linda June Moody

October 11, 1950 — December 17, 2022

Linda June White Moody of Mountain Home, Arkansas passed peacefully at Baxter Health on December 17, 2022. She was born October 11, 1950, in Hot Springs, Arkansas, the daughter of Dewie and Oleta Grey White.

Linda lived a full life and had many occupations, to include; Arkansas Children's Colony, semi driver, back up singer, and jeweler. Her hobbies included crochet, quilting, painting, and making and collecting jewelry. When she was able-bodied she enjoyed camping, gardening, and raising fowl. She taught her children to live an equally full life, to do whatever they wanted in life, to be fiercely independent people, who focused on being happy and being with their families. She showed her children life was meant to be lived without apologies or care of what others thought, to be strong in any situation handed to them, and to make the best of it.
She lived a life others didn't always understand, or wanted to judge, but to her children she lived a life of adventure, passion, and humor. Above all else, Linda was loved deeply by her children.

Linda is survived by her children, Chris M. Oldham of Henderson, AR, Rebecca J. "Paige Majors" Griffith (Robert Griffith) of Mountain Home, AR, and Kevin E. Majors (Jess Majors) of Jordan, AR. She was step mom and adopted mom to far too many to list, but she loved them like her own. Linda is also survived by her grandchildren, Lucas P. Akins of Harrison, AR, Tristen B. Griffith Denio of Mountian Home, AR, Darrian G. Griffith of Gamaliel, AR, Devin Majors of Dunham Springs, LA, Austin Majors of Batesville, AR, Landin Majors of Batesville, AR, Alisa Romine of Henderson, AR, Tristan Romine of Jordan, AR, and Damien Romine of Mountain Home, AR; great-grandchildren, Jaxson Denio, Ryker Denio, Oletta Griffith, Oaklin Majors, Nixsin Majors, and Kimmie Romine; siblings; Lisa White of FL, and Randy White of Friendship, AR.

She is preceded in death by her parents; brother, Mitchell White; and her beloved grandparents.
