Lloyd Thomas Bryan of Mountain Home, Arkansas, passed away July 14, 2021, in Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 94. He was born August 30, 1926, in Fort Worth, Texas, the son of Charles and Burley Jolly Bryan. He married Margie Armstrong on June 1, 1947, in Little Rock, Arkansas. He worked as an Underwriter for Motors Insurance Corporation in Little Rock for 18 years. Lloyd was also a nursing assistant at the VA Hospital in North Little Rock. Lloyd was a proud U.S. Army veteran of World War II. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Little Rock since 1939. Lloyd was a graduate of Central High School in Little Rock in 1945. He graduated from the University of Arkansas in 1949, with a Bachelor's of Arts in Marketing, and he was a lifelong Razorback fan. He is deeply loved and will be greatly missed.
Lloyd is survived by his daughters, Janet (John) Spencer of Mountain Home, Arkansas, and Vicki (Jim) Stewart of Norman, Oklahoma; son, Tom (Becky) Bryan of Bentonville, Arkansas; sisters-in-law, Virginia Stricklin of North Little Rock, Arkansas, and Shirley Fagan of Fort Worth, Texas; grandchildren, Bryan Stewart, Joy (Matt) Robinson, Brad (Sarah) Stewart, Michael (Siobhan) Dickinson, Dr. Jacob (Patty) Dickinson, Jordan (Kyla) Bryan, and Jenny (Evan) Cowling; and twenty great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, and parents.
Visitation will be Wednesday, July 21, 2021, 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm, at Kirby & Family Funeral Home with a funeral service to follow at 2:00 pm with Reverend Jim Stewart officiating. Burial will be in the Kirby's Tucker Memorial Cemetery, Mountain Home, Arkansas. Due to current restrictions, masks are required.
