A Memorial Service for Lois Irene Brown of Mountain Home, Arkansas, will be 2:00 P.M. Saturday, May 8, 2010 at Kirby & Family Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Siegfried Johnson officiating. Lois died Wednesday, May 5, 2010 at Mountain Home, at the age of 75. She was born December 1, 1934 in Ozark, Missouri, the daughter of Allen Dale and Nettie Irene Mauntner Shultz. She married Johnny Brown on October 15, 1954 at Liberty, Missouri and worked 18 years as a clerk for Sears. Lois lived in Mountain Home, Arkansas since 1999 moving from Kansas City, Missouri. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church. She loved line dancing, camping, fishing, the outdoors, working in her flower garden and volunteering at her church. Lois is survived by her husband, Johnny, 2 sons, John and Christopher Brown both of Mountain Home, AR, 2 grandchildren, Greg Brown and Andrea Burch both of Kansas City, MO, 2 great-grandchildren, Peyton and Parker Burch of Kansas City, MO, brother, Charles Schultz of Omaha, NE and sister, Diane Bonacci of Kansas City, MO. She was preceded in death by her parents. Entombment will be in the Kirby's Tucker Memorial Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Hospice of the Ozarks Hospice House. Arrangements are by Kirby & Family Funeral & Cremation Services.
