Lois died January 8, 2014, at Mountain Home, Arkansas.A Memorial Service for Lois Allison Hough Cannedy of Mountain Home, Arkansas, will be 10:30 am, Monday, January 13, 2014, at First Presbyterian Church, with Pastor Gary Adler officiating.

Lois passed away January 8, 2014, in Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 95. She was born March 15, 1918, in Muncie, Indiana, the daughter of Ray and Irene DeLancey Allison. She worked as a Toy Buyer for Schock's Toys. Lois lived in Mountain Home since 1977, moving from Indianapolis, Indiana. She married Paul James Cannedy on April 17, 1999, at Mountain Home, Arkansas She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church. She was an elder and deacon of her church, member of Lake Norfork Boat Club, Seeders and Cedars Garden Club. She was also on boards and a member of the North East Water Association and Food Basket and the Twin Lakes Gun Club and various bridge clubs.

Lois is survived by her husband, Paul James Cannedy of Mountain Home, AR and stepson, Arthur Wayne and daughter-in-law Judy Bamber Cannedy of Denham Springs, LA.

She was preceded in death by her parents; first husband, Fredric O. Hough; son, Randall Allison; daughter, Nikki Carlile; and two brothers, Robert and Ronald Allison.

Scattering of ashes will be in the Kirby's Tucker Memorial Cemetery Scattering Gardens.

Memorials may be made to Hospice of the Ozarks Hospice House, 701 Burnett Drive, Mountain Home, AR 72653.

Arrangements are by Kirby and Family Funeral and Cremation Services.
