Lois Gene Craven

A Memorial Service for Lois Gene Craven of Mountain Home, Arkansas, will be 2:00 pm, Tuesday, March 22, 2016, at Kirby & Family Funeral Home Chapel.

Lois passed away March 20, 2016, in Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 91. She was born December 6, 1924, in Armstrong County, Pennsylvania, the daughter of Grove and Mary Black Hilliard. She married David Verne Craven on April 18, 1942, in North Tonawanda, New York and worked as a homemaker. Lois lived in Mountain Home since 1977, moving from Shawnee, New York. She attended the First Presbyterian Church in Mountain Home. Lois enjoyed sewing, crafts, and was very active in the Church.

Lois is survived by her son, David Craven of Charlotte, NC; daughter, Sandra (Gail) Waldeck of Matthews, NC; seven grandchildren, Kim May, Karyn Cramer, Rebecca Barbour, Michael Gorman, Barbara Gorman, Danielle Davis, and Andrea Sullivan; 17 great-grandchildren and numerous great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by parents, husband, two daughters, Margaret Craven and Kathryn Fowler, two grandchildren, Aaron Waldeck and Bryce Craven.

Burial will be in the Kirby's Tucker Memorial Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to the First Presbyterian Church Mountain Home.
