A Memorial Service for Lois F. Deitrich of Mountain Home, Arkansas, will be 2:00 pm, Monday, December 19, 2016, at Kirby & Family Funeral Home Chapel, with Reverend David Gadbaw officiating.
Lois passed away December 15, 2016, in Springfield, Missouri at the age of 85. She was born August 10, 1931, in Hazleton, Pennsylvania, the daughter of George and Hilda Badman Knerr. She married Adrian Deitrich, Sr. on October 28, 1989, at Berwick, Pennsylvania and worked as a material handler for Berwick Knit Wear. Lois lived in Mountain Home since 1993, moving from Berwick, Pennsylvania. She was a member of the Berwick Moose Lodge #365 for 30 years, then transferred to the Mountain Home Chapter #I846. She was also a former member of the Berwick Eagles, Lioness, volunteered at Baxter Regional Medical Center as a Pink Lady, Carti, and Hospice of the Ozarks. She was a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church and St. Mary's Church of Pennsylvania.
Lois is survived by her two daughters, Patricia Zeltner of Norfork, AR and Jean M Kreischer of Berwick, PA; sister, Nancy Jensen of Germantown, PA; five grandchildren, Christopher (Lisa) Davis of Viola, AR, Suzanne (John) Brakebill of West Plains, MO, Joshua Yenkevich of Phoenix, AZ, Jessica Morgan of Berwick, PA and Stashia Yenkevich of Phoenix, AZ; eight great-grandchildren, Derreck, Tiffany, Nathan, Matthew, Jason, Cameron, Bradley and Madison and one great-great-grandchild, Brian.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; son, George and sister, Dawn.
Burial will be in the Elan Memorial Park, Bloomsburg, Pennsylvania.
