Lois King

Lois King died Friday, February 22, 2008 in Gamaliel at the age of 75. She was born Wednesday, May 11, 1932 in Lincoln, Illinois, the daughter of Glen and Leola Maurine Moore Hoagland. She married Herman King on April 24, 1949 at Danvers, Illinois and worked as a Real Estate Broker. Lois lived in Gamaliel for 14 years moving from Rantoul, Illinois. She enjoyed sewing, painting, cooking and was active in many activities. Survivors: Lois King is survived by her husband, Herman King and 2 sons, Herman Dean King, and Roy Dale King. Preceded in Death by: She was preceded in death by parents. Visitation: Visitation will be from 5-8 P.M., Monday, February 25 at the Kirby & Family Funeral Home. Funeral: Funeral services for Lois Lorene King of Gamaliel, AR, will be 10:00 A.M. Tuesday, February 26, 2008 at First Baptist Church, with Reverend Max Pyron officiating. Memorials: Memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church Building Fund. Active Bearers: Pallbearers will be Wade Armes, Jim Summers, Gerald Stow, Jim Clements, Gary Skiver and Chuck Schelinski.
