Lois Neiman was born April 24, 1913 at Browns, Illinois to Orlie and Pluma Brock Carlton. She married Borden D. Neiman on November 30, 1933 at Joliet, Illinois. She was a homemaker and a member of the First Presbyterian Church. She moved to Mountain Home December 1, 1970 from Naperville, Illinois. She was the past worthy Matron of the Naperville Order of Eastern Star. In Mountain Home she was a member of the Friends of Hospice, Baxter Regional Medical Center Auxiliary, Twin Lakes Golf Club and the Riverlakes Golden Agers Bowling League. She moved to Marion, Illinois in 1998. She died December 26, 2006 at Fountain Nursing Home in Marion, Illinois at the age of 93 years, 7 months and 28 days. Survivors: She is survived by two daughters; Joyce Baker of Marion, Illinois and Jo Ann Mizel of Oswego, Illinois, one daughter in law; Pat Neiman of St. Joseph, Michigan, 11 grandchildren and several great and great great grandchildren. Preceded in Death by: Lois Neiman was preceded in death by her husband Borden, one son Ray Neiman, one son in law Tom Mizel and one great grandson Shawn Baker. Funeral: Graveside services for Lois C. Neiman of Marion, Illinois, formerly of Mountain Home will be at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, December 30, 2006 at Baxter Memorial Gardens with Dr. Bruce McClendon officiating.
